This allows your data to be synchronized across multiple devices when you sign in. While your data is stored remotely, we implement appropriate security measures to safeguard your information.

We utilize the following third-party services:

Account Management

You can manage your account and update your personal information directly within the app. In accordance with Apple's guidelines, if you sign in using Apple, Google, or email, you have the option to delete your account. Deleting your account will remove your authentication data and associated progress from our servers, although some data may be retained for record-keeping or to comply with legal obligations.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account by navigating to Settings > Account > Delete Account within the Literate Chinese app. This will permanently remove your progress and personal data from our servers.

Children's Privacy

Our app is designed to be safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate parental consent. If we discover that a child under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in their country) has provided personal data without parental consent, we will delete it.

Data Retention

We retain user data for as long as necessary to provide the service, unless deletion is requested by the user. Some data may be retained to comply with legal obligations.
